Our tank, Tank 72, as of February 28, 2013
This is the mushroom coral in our tank. Although it is small, it has forced the brown anemone to grow around it and has been the most successful coral in combatting the anemone that we have introduced so far.
The hammer branch coral on the left side of our tank which we have introduced to attempt to repel the anemone. It has not been as successful as we have hoped.
Brown anemone on live rock in the middle of our tank. It has produced a mucus-like string at certain times this month.
This is our hammer branch coral on the right side of our tank. As you can see, there is a great amount of brown anemone growth on its base. Below the coral and to the left is a large brown anemone polyp.
The mushroom coral (bottom center) and Euphyllid (top-mid left). The Euphyllid has only shown the top of its tentacles this month. It has not been fully extended for a while.
